Each piece is laser cut from a dense wood composite hard board. There are 6 layers to the piece which represents the 6 fold geometry of the seed. They are then painted and assembled into a single unit. Suitable for indoor use. If you need an outdoor safe piece, please contact us.

The size is based on the core pattern geometry, not the physical piece itself. The piece will be about 1/2" to 1" larger overall than the specified dimensions. The dimensions are based on the cubit, an ancient unit of measurement which is the same unit of measurement the great pyramids of Giza are build upon.
